PARENT CONSULTATION AND TRAINING & SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
As a SPACE-trained provider, I specialize in helping parents reduce childhood anxiety by adjusting their responses, rather than focusing directly on the child's behavior.
How SPACE Works
Many well-meaning parents unintentionally accommodate their child’s anxiety, offering excessive reassurance, modifying routines, or avoiding certain situations. While these strategies provide temporary relief, they often reinforce anxious behaviors over time. Through SPACE, parents learn how to support their child’s emotional well-being without reinforcing anxiety. Gradually reduce accommodations that contribute to avoidance. Build their child’s confidence in coping with distress
Conditions Treated with SPACEI
SPACE to address a variety of childhood and adolescent anxiety disorders, including:
Separation Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Specific Phobias, Panic Disorder & Agoraphobia, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Why Choose SPACE?
Parent-Focused: The child does not need to participate in treatment sessions.
Research-Supported: SPACE is an evidence-based, effective method for reducing anxiety
.Empowering for Families: Parents gain lifelong tools to support their child’s emotional development.

PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL EVALUATIONS
Psychological and Psycho-Educational Evaluations are available to clarify and understand an individual's strengths and needs. Psychoeducational evaluations are helpful in determining what supports, services, and accommodations, are required to help someone flourish academically, socially and emotionally, and behaviorally.

Evaluations are and helpful to determine if an individual requires accommodations on standardized testing e.(e.g., SAT, ACT, LSAT, MCAT, GRE)

I am experienced in completing evaluations and paperwork for Medical and Financial Guardianship (Form 17-A) for individuals who have an intellectual and/or developmental disability.
